OUR STORY
Our RV Resort is the "getaway that’s not far away." We’re located in north central Illinois, 114 miles from Chicago and 80 miles from Milwaukee. We have 44 beautiful acres located along the banks of the Sugar River. We’re a family-oriented resort and have many special events that we invite you to attend. A few of the reasons to stay at Sugar Shores include a 1/4-mile of river frontage, spacious wooded sites, clean restrooms, a clubhouse with pool tables, video games, meeting rooms and a fully stocked camp store.

Wonderful place, the nicest people are here from RV owners to the office!!
The pool is great, and carlos and tina make you feel welcome right away.
Grounds are clean, restrooms are clean.
Everything in working order.
Had great camper neighbors, hayride was fun as well.
This was our first tent camping and it was so much fun. We will come back.

Sugar Shores is a very nice gated RV resort, way out in the country. It has a heated pool, an air conditioned building with laundromat, showers and flush toilets. On rainy days the clubhouse has games, tv/movie rooms.

My family and I loved staying at Sugar Shores Campground! The grounds were very well kept, the pool was clean each day we went swimming, there were a couple of playgrounds throughout which our kids loved walking to, and the clubhouse had tons of board games and arcade games available which we enjoyed on one of the nights it was raining. Aside from all of the amenities, it is located along the Sugar River so it is a perfect location for campers who want to spend time out on the water. We are looking forward to spending time out here each summer!
